X-Factor USA: Paula and Nicole are tone deaf, Marcus should be gone, not Drew!?

Question

I officially hate Nicole and Paula. Drew was wrongfully sent home. they could've finally sent home Marcus, and instead, they sent home Drew. Drew was one of the best still in the competition, whereas Marcus is nowhere near the best and should've been gone by now. When I heard Nicole and Paula both say that Drew was going home, my heart dropped. Marcus's song tonight was all over the place, and Drew was once again phenomenal. Marcus, on the other hand, was once again a pitchy mess. Paula and Nicole probably just sent her home cause of Simon and not cause of Drew. Marcus is not talented enough to be in the final five, and is officially the Sanjaya Malakar of The X Factor season 1, and opefully won't be Scotty McCreery part 2, cause Scotty should not have won American Idol. Bottom line, if Marcus or even Chris make it to the finale, I will be so outraged, cause even Chris should've went home over Astro. Does anyone else feel like me and think Drew should have stayed over Marcus and that Nicole and Paula have no idea what they're talking about?

PS: I didn't mention L.A. sending Drew home, cause it was obvious he was going to back up his own act.

Tony, I couldn't agree with you more! Drew is an amazing singer and was one of my favorite contestants in the competition. I swear that the judges (except for Simon) must have been on crack to send Drew home over Marcus! I'm starting to loose respect for the judges now, especially Nicole and Paula. I'm not mad at those 2, but not L.A., because of course he would back up Marcus, who was one of his own contestants. Good comparison between Marcus and Sanjaya; I totally agree with you there!

I completely agree with you. Paula knew that if the voting went to deadlock then Marcus would have been sent home. I was so pissed off because I love Drew's voice and her style, I did want her to change up her style and do some more upbeat songs and I believe she would have if she stayed in the competition. I was hoping for Melanie and Marcus to go home this week. Yes, Melanie has a good voice but she just doesn't evoke any emotion in me when she sings. Stacey Francis should still be in the competition she was a soul-stirrer. Anyways, I digress, Drew should have stayed and Marcus should have went home but like many people are saying Paula wanted to get back at Simon and screwed Drew over. Josh has to win now for both Stacey and Drew.

It seems as though Paula has changed since being on the show with Nicole. Paula and Nicole are teaming up to be against Simon. It's immature and unprofessional.

Drew is the better singer. I think it was time for Astro to go home. He can't sing and it's a singing compitition. Marcus has been in the bottom 2 again and will not make it much farther. However, Drew could have made it to the end.

This show is turning into a power struggle between the judges instead of finding the best singer. I'm getting sick of it.

Simon is the only judge who is honest and admits when he's wrong and he's not into this power struggle the other 3 judges are into. I hope he kicks them to the curb and finds new judges next year.

There are a million Marcus', there is 1 Drew, Paula and Nicole made the stupidest decision ever made. There is as much rage of Drew going home as there was when Pia went home on American Idol. I know you have to be able to 'preform' but stage presense, dancing, backflips, etc. dont mean crap when im BUYING a song or album. When I buy a song or album im just listening, and just listening and just watching Drew is 10000000x better than Marcus. There were times it sounded like Marcus was whining in his song. Nicole and Paula should be fired with Steve Jones. Im not watching X Factor the rest of the season. Good luck to Melanie though, hope she wins, I like Josh but I dont think he should win purely because I dont want Nicole feeling like she was the best judge for having Josh. Im probably 1000x sure Nicole does nothing to help Josh, and Josh is better without Nicole.

OK, for all those who now hate Paula and Nicole, I definitely blame Simon for that. He's the one who started it. If he had shown a little respect for the past contestants, no one would have hated Drew. For example, go back and see the bad and hurtful things he said to Leroy Bell. He said that he had no right to be in the competition and that he was a dolphin. He said that he wouldn,t move on the stage. Where as there was no problem if Drew didn,t move. No contestant deserves to be treated that way. But Leroy was cool and left with dignity. May be simon doesnt deserve to be on the show because what goes around comes around.

Paula and Nicole are always going to agree with one another, when Nicole sent home Drew, I knew Paula would do the same. They both are sick of Simon and wanted to get back at him.

They KNOW Marcus has no where near as much talent as Drew, BUT that didn't matter tonight. The only thing that mattered tonight was putting Simon in his place. Like Simon said "Drew, you are there because of me tonight." and he was right.

If paula would have kept drew then it would have been deadlocked and then the person with the lowest number of votes would have to go home THAT would have been Marcus. This was a power move strictly that. This help Josh's and Chris's chances I dont see how Chris is still in the competition I'm glad he's clean but it hasn't been year yet dope heads relapse all the time giving a crack head 5 million is just crazy.

Drew has a beautiful voice, but she is boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I choose Marcus over Drew. I enjoy watching Marcus. So, I agree with the judges! Plus, I am not sure that Drew can handle the pressure of the industry, right now.

I never really liked Marcus or Chris. I thought they both had huge pitch problems and could barely sing. I didn't even like them during their auditions to be honest. I agree, Drew was starting to become boring but she was still one of my favorites. I don't blame Nichole. She sincerely looked torn with her decision. I blame it all on Paula. She had no emotion for Drew at all... Ever. Drew's performance was so amazing tonight compared to Marcus's pitchy mess. I don't blame Simon for being upset. The judges made a mistake. Paula and Nicole sent home because they are threatened by her, she has WAY more talent in her pinky toe than them two wannabe singers, who can't sing. Notice they did not put down 1 male on the show last night, only the females. I've like Marcus from the jump but he was terrible last night and they praised him. Drew sounded great and they complained she sat down. Really? I've always wondered why them two were judges, their music sucked major, their cute and can dance but that's it. i agree with u totally. paula is no longer a liked person in my house. it is a power struggle with simon and nicole. nicole is just against simon, she did not even go up to drew after she kicked her off. i felt so bad for drew when she was crying. L.A. is just wanting his team to win. i love drew marcus is not even good. go drew we are here for you! we will never like paula or nicole or l.a. again they are game players simon is for real. this is peoples lifes you don't play games with them one day the table will turn. It is very obvious why Nicole and Paula voted as they did..... it's all about Simon and getting back at his cutting remarks to both of them..



Markus was very very pitchy in his song tonight. Paula didn't even hesitate when sending Drew home, obviously to get back at Simon.



This show has become more about judges/mentors winning than the actual contestants and so I am no longer a fan. American Idol has its flaws but at least it is more up to the public.

Yea i think Marcus should of gone. I think Simon made a mistake making Drew sit in the chair and not letting her change things up. But Marcus was worse than Drew.

The judge's decision makes me wish Paula got fired instead of Cheryl Cole. As for Nicole, I much rather have Sara Bareilles as judge rather than that former no-talent Pussycat/Singoff judge.

I don't think Drew's voice is that great, she often has points where the pitch goes way too high and she sounds like a 13 year old boy having voice cracks. Now ima get a bunch of thumbs down for that but oh well im not hating just stating my opinion. I was impressed by Drews performance yesterday, and equally as impressed with Marcus. But today Marcus definatley sounded better to me and sounded like he wanted it more by the way he sang. Marcus is also much more entertaining and is a more complete artist in my opinion, But I wish the best for Drew and I'm sure she will still have a successful career in the longrun. No doubt that Marcus' tone was all over the place but he laid it all out there with emotion. Drew, on the other hand, was a jittery mess and couldn't be expected to deliver a clutch performance. And she didn't. Personally, I find her to be an Alanis Morrisette retread. She is filled with angst and I honestly feel she has serious issues.. She doesn't look 14 and I think she may be suffering from an eating disorder. I hope and pray that she doesn't go over the rails on being eliminated.

They wanted to get back at Simon and he should get rid of them that was not fair for Drew... Drew was overrated, just like everyone else on the show besides Astro and Melanie Amaro. The X Factor's last chance of producing a famous WINNER is Melanie Amaro. Astro is going to get record deals though and become famous.



Her Billie Jeans performance was lame. Firstly, she just sat there. Secondly, I only understood what she sang because I knew the lyrics to Billie Jeans.

It's more then just singing. You have to be able to have a good performance and while Drew has a great voice no doubt about it her performance were lacking and really boring. Marcus was more exciting and that drew people in.
