Dear megan s

MY opinion… FWIW is,

1. If someone has an issue with gender-reassignment… then that person shouldn’t be pursuing gender-reassignment.

2. IF Chaz is a male brain trapped in a female body… Then HE should be allowed to peruse HIS own dream of “Life, liberty and happiness”. He’s broken no laws… and deserves the same curtsey and respect as any other law abiding citizen of this nation.

3. Just because another person has issues with who’s got the “twig & gigglebarriers”… doesn’t make Mr. Bono’s dreams less valid.

4. IF someone has an issue with Mr. Bono dancing… then that person shouldn’t be watching Mr. Bono dance.

its all for ratings, and if he gets pity votes he will stay while another better dancer than he will go home. he's being used by dwts to get ratings for a show that has jumped the shark a long time ago. besides he is not a star just the daughter/son of a star. they don't really have stars on that show. just celebrities and had been celebrities at that.

dwts should be renamed dwtc dancing with the celebrities. or off spring of celebrities.

I agree with the poster who said he was chosen to attract controversy and attention. See, if we're focused on crap like this, we won't notice the rich politicians trying to pull the rug out from under the middle class. The rich politicians--and the corporations who buy and sell the politicians-- don't waste their time watching the crappy tv shows that are marketed to the rest of us.

I would like to nuclear bomb all these terrible shows and restore the intellectual barometer of this country to a higher level. This country is going to go straight to he'll if we don't take it back (by whatever means necessary) from the wealthy few and their puppets in congress.

Well that's why they chose him for the show.. they like controversial people.

As for the whole sex-change thing, it really doesn't bother me one way or the other. I saw his show "Becoming Chaz" and he seems like a very nice person.

I don't see why they are making a big deal out of it. I do not need to or want to hear about somebody I don't even know's sex life or private life. WHo cares? What does that have to do with dancing? I hate when the media does this, that's why I don't watch tv.

i honestly dont give a ****. if he wants to dance with a girl then i see no reason why it should have such an impact. but sadly, fox new's infamous stories scaring people into doing whatever they want them to do has people, well, scared, that a woman being a man will confuse them. as if automatically knowing of someone who is trans and famous will make them assume theyre trans as well. no one decides their sexuality/ gender on something theyve seen on tv.

i watched americain dad as a child, i didnt turn gay just because they had a gay couple on their show. i watched boys dont cry at a young age, i didnt decide i was trans after watching that show and stick with it for years. rather, i always knew i was a girl but didnt think i could do anything about it until i saw that movie. irronically i was scared to transition for years but stop caring what people thought.

and if it makes you gay or trans then why did my sister not change her sexuality/gender after seeing these at about the same age i did?

Honestly, it's no big deal to me. If Chaz chose to change her (his) sexual orientation, no big deal. When she chose to become a man, no big deal. Some people will try to make this into a bigger deal than it needs to be. I'm glad that his mother supports his choice. :) I remember seeing him as a girl on The Sonny and Cher show back in the 70s.

The show needs David Robinson as a contestant.

I really do not care. It is none of my business how he wants to live his life. Once people stop buying into what the media says and does the better for all of us.

My "opinion" is that no one in this country can any longer offer their opinion on a matter if it is opposite "statutes," lest they want to be marauded by the masses...

I really dont care because I dont watch DWTS.

But If I did....I still wouldnt care.

I loved Sonny and Cher so I cant say anything bad about their "son"... I dont know "him" and I dont care to know "him",so I sure as hell wouldnt pass judgement.its not affecting me...Hes not dancing in my living room soooo....

I dont know why she chose the path that she did but I dont have to sleep with her so its not my business.
