Miley's American Idol Performance?

Question

Did anyone else think Miley Cyrus was singing/dancing/acting weird on American Idol on Wed. 4/15? and if ur gonna be a hater, go be an @$$ somewhere else.

Yeah...it was a little off. I like Miley, but I thought maybe she had a cold or something. She sang too nasaley in the beginning and her strong notes weren't as strong as her performances on some other shows lately.



She looked good tonight though.



(Jennifer Hudson had some trouble hearing herself too...she was trying to adjust her earpiece a couple times throughout her performance.)

In a nice way then...........it was different in a bad way. She screamed notes, instead of holding them. She slurred and didn't articulater some words. She was struggling with it through out.....she only knows how to sing rougher songs like fly on the wall, where you don't need to sound good........it was too mature for her to handle. It wasn't great sorry. The song is unusually addicting tho lol

No, I didn't really. I didn't care for the "head banging" thing. I always hate when everyone does that, though. I have seen lots of people do that but it looks weird especially in a dress like that ... just my opinion ...

I gotta admit she is a very good singer

i agree, i didnt get the whole hair flippy thing i was just like...this isnt a rock song miley and the singing was off from how she regularly is but i dont blame her right now because of the scandalous comments jamie foxx made against her, shes just trying to deal with it probably but i do agree with you

She looked like she was trying to be rockstar. You know what I thought? She's sixteen, and so is Allison.



Compare their vocals...... an unsigned superstar and Disneystar. Really.

I thought she did pretty well, considering her age and the fact that she just sang in front millions of people. I'm not really a fan of hers (I don't hate her though either), but she seems like a cool girl and she's got lots of energy.

i imagine that is a especially music, yet... she sounded very nasally to me, although. i do not understand; i assumed the completed performance replaced into type of awkward. fairly even as she began the weird and wonderful head-banging on the end and her hair fell down.

I think Miley did an awesome job! Her voice is incredible. It doesn't sound fake like a lot of other celebrities. I'm a huge Miley fan so I don't criticize her=]
