Sorry, it was fake on that segment. Typical procedure for paramedics is to establish an IV via a blood vessel, in case they need to introduce any medication/fluids and intubate or provide oxygen (mask or nostril tube) for the patient. They wouldn't have elevated the gurney that high where his head was resting.

It was obviously fake / as if an ambulance would turn up that quickly unless they just happened to to be going that fast unless they just happened to be going past which is usually in a rare situation

Last night's show was the mid-season finale so we prob won't find out what happened until the fall. I tried looking online but it's pretty hush and none of the fam members are mentioning anything on social media except ty for the warm wishes for Les.

As far as it being staged...I think it was over dramatized... yes. But not completely staged. What I find weird is the camera will go back the stock room all the time but this time they didn't? That doesn't make any sense at all. Ashley didn't seems to convincing either. He was grabbing his pelvic area, there isn't much there. Yah he could have a pulled groin (now being female I don't know much about this area) but I don't think you can collapse or pass out from a pulled groin or a hernia. Why wouldn't Seth go to the hospital? You would think they would both go...or Seth would go get their mom and meet them at the hospital...that seemed odd that he was so calm...yes I understand that everyone act differently to dramatic situations but that was too calm.

Les was plugging his book last night 7/09/13 live on the Andy Dean radio talk show about 740 pm ET. He mentioned that last night's show was number 120 but said nothing about the collapse. I think this is the end of the "season." In the past they always end wjth a cliffhanger, like the time that Rich was "fired."

i feel it was real cuz the kids would not act the way they did if it were not real nor would they call a rescue squad!!!

It's prerecorded, this means it happened months ago. He is fine or you have heard different by now.

I think it's a combination of the two.

I believe Les had a medical issue. However, I don't believe it occurred as we saw it. It wasn't believable to me that in this age of electronic gadgets - surely all of these people have them and use them - that the employee - Bobby? - his first reaction was to run out to get Seth and Ashley rather than to see that Les was in trouble and make that fast call himself.

I think what we saw was a form of reenactment for dramatic effect.
